As you can see we are unveiling the new site version and design. This version is a customised Mi-Dia Blog 1.1.0 installation with the Mi-Dia Forum 1.0.0 Modification. Although all the data was saved and restored, this site is much different from its predecessors.
Along with the new site has come a glowingly purple appearance, this was a last moment change and was a big one indeed. We feel it is much better than the design we had planned to release.
Some may be asking where the new release's are though. In short they are not online now. We intend to add the blog, core and forum within the next couple of days. View Full Entry Category: News Comments:0Tags:Site Blog Core Forum NEw
The changes continue with some of the site rebuilt again. This time we have used the Page's system to make up for some of the navigation page's and have reintroduced Mod Database, Template Database and Download to the website. These feature's can now be used as they were before.
Mi-Dia website is now running on the Beta for the next version of Mi-Dia Blog, this is due to some of the feature's being needed on this site and to test it in a live environment.
As this is just the base install, it will take a few day's to touch up and install the addon's including community forums. We will keep you up to date with all changes. View Full Entry Category: News Comments:0Tags:Site Forum CMS Upgrade
Templates Demo is back online!

As part of the rebuild the templates demo http://templates.mi-dia.co.uk/ is back online. Currently only loaded with the default, Profiler, SimplyGreen and SimplyBlue templates. Other templates will be added accordingly.
As we expand the site, we also need to try and keep it organised so new user's are not baffled with 100's of link's to different pieces of information or features.
To this end, the navigation tabs Templates and Mods have been replaced with one link called Addons. This new link opens up a page linking to the Mod's database, and the new Templates database, keeping all additional content for the Mi-Dia Blog organised.
A large delay for such an important message, but finally I have had the time to write the code for the Latest Download block. This block is present only on the home page and provides links to the release entry of both Full Release and Beta Release for Mi-Dia Blog. In the header is a link to our new demonstration site, currently demonstrating a base install of Mi-Dia Blog 1.0.6.
This demo is slighly modified from the release version of Mi-Dia Blog as it contains automated reinstalling which refreshes the website every 2 hours, removing any changes made by visitors.
The demo version also contains an open account, allowing visitors to test different features available including the Staff Section.

As Mi-Dia.co.uk is currently running a customised version of 1.0.6.BETA, it is actually a few steps behind the newly released 1.0.6.
Due to this, a customised install of Mi-Dia blog has been set up and the following is scheduled to happen in the downtime.
1) Delete Current Website and Replace with 1.0.6 Release based website
2) Delete Current Database and Replace with Modified Database ( No Data loss will happen )
By starting a fresh, lots of information has been removed and many different structures. To combat this, Mi-Dia Blog will be undergoing a "Rebuild" process, where information is added back in the new format.
This includes of making use of the new Page System and adding a new download system for accessing files, so if you have any problems around and about the site, check back soon as your problems will be resolved. View Full Entry Category: News Comments:0Tags:Construction Site Update
